The Aguas Livres Aqueduct (Aqueduto das Aguas Livres) carries water into modern Lisbon, Portugal. The aqueduct was built from 1731 under the supervision of architect Antonio Canevari and later under Portuguese architects and engineers. It runs for 58km and started delivering water into Lisbon in 1748.
